So, I recently dropped by Medupi Bottle Store, right on Mabuya St in Thokoza. Honestly, it’s not a bad spot for a quick liquor run.
They’re open from 9 AM to 7 PM most days, and if you’re in a hurry, a fast visit is totally doable. The shelves seemed pretty well-stocked—never ran outta what I needed, which is a plus, right?
I did notice that it’s wheelchair accessible, which is always a good thing. Now, I can’t sugarcoat everything. A friend mentioned some staff can be a bit on the rude side. But hey, I didn’t experience that myself; just keep your expectations in check.
Overall, not too shabby, especially if you just need to grab a few drinks. They accept credit and debit cards, plus mobile payments, which is super convenient if you forget your wallet. It’s like they know us too well!
