So, there’s this spot called Coffee, tucked away on Soutpansberg Rd in Queenswood, Pretoria.
I stumbled upon it while hunting for my morning pick-me-up. Opening at 6 am daily, it’s clearly catering to early risers like me. But, it’s kinda puzzling why the coffee didn’t quite hit the mark. Two reviews gave it a lukewarm 3.0 score out of 5—nothing to write home about, right?
I mean, one person felt the coffee tasted like it was straight from a bad instant packet. That made me wonder if they really get their beans right.
The place seems casual enough for a dine-in experience, plus they do takeout, which is a win for anyone on the go. There’s even a wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking.
They serve breakfast and desserts, so maybe I’ll give those a go next time. Who knows? Perhaps their pastries can make up for the not-so-great brew.
